Fandoms Explained
Urban dictionary
Urban dictionary defines a fandom as "The community that surrounds a tv show/movie/book etc. Fandoms consist of fanfic writers, artists, poets, and cosplayers." But what Urban Dictionary doesn't say is how much dedication it takes to become part of a fandom. Just watching/ reading a movie/book/tv show a couple seasons does not make you automatically part of the fandom. to join a fandom you must be a die hard fan.
