Game Reviews

Video games

Video games are essential part in a teenager's life. The best part of being a teen is having new privileges as you mature. One of those privileges is being able to play more games that you probably weren't able to play when you were younger. The games are becoming better as technology is advancing. The graphics too.

Game Ratings

Games ratings are given officially by the ESRB, Entertainment Software Ratings Board. The ESRB takes its time to go through every game and meticulously judge it by their standards.

ESRB Standards

Each and every game a rating before it's released to the public. The ratings are based off these main things:
  • Profanity
  • Gore
  • Target audience
  • Violence
  • Gambling
  • Alcohol content
  • Sexual content
The more of this the game has, the more mature the rating will be.

Game Reviews

Everyone is a critic. In the business world, they understand that. That's why most companies listen to their customer's feedback to try to improve the customer satisfaction rate. The higher the customer satisfaction rate, the more games sold, the more games, more profit. All game reviews are personal and opinionated. Therefore, that does not mean that they are accurate all the time.

Popular Critics

The most popular and "reliable" critics are the critics that make the game be hard to find on the shelves of your local Gamestop or make it not sell at all.The critics listed on the side are some for example. E3 is the big gaming convention where companies reveal new games and consoles, and also win awards. Wining an E3 award is a big accomplishment in the gaming world for marketing. Winning makes the game and the company look very reliable and makes it more popular.

"The most important critic is you."

Well, we're now going to take that quote into action and going to start to rate games. Please remember that these reviews are our opinions and it doesn't mean they're correct.
