Rosario + Vampire

Hey guys sorry I haven't blogged in a while, with school starting, due to the amount of homework and stress I'll have, I'll probably blog once every other day.

Rosario + Vampire

Tsukune and Moka
Rosario + Vampire is one of my favorite anime shows that I watched on Netflix.. And when I say watched I mean I finished the series in two sittings. Anyway, its about this human named Tsukune who goes to a high school for monsters. He finds out quickly if a human was to enter the barrier between the human world and the monster world, they'd die instantly. Tsukune wonders if this is just a big joke and beileves that for awhile, until he meets Moka.

Moka is a beautiful vampire who become his best friend, also the only one who knows he's human. Moka is such a powerful power that she has to wear a rosario to keep it from coming out and turning her into her real self, one of the most powerful mosters in the monster world. She's kind and gentle with the rosario on, but completely opposite when it is off. She has feelings for Tsukune but whenever they get close to kissing she sucks his blood.

Tsukune meets four other girls that fall head over heels for him, but they don't see that he loves Moka. These six friends battle monsters and go on adventures within the high school.

Archery

Okay, so ever since I was little I've wanted a bow and arrow set. My dad said that if I could write him a persuasive letter, he'd think about letting me have one, but I have to post it on my blog.

Dad:

I am very thankful that you have given me this opportunity to try to persuade you into letting me have a bow and arrow. As you know, I've wanted a bow and arrow for awhile. I feel like if I got a bow and arrow I'd have a hobby that would require me to go outside. By having this hobby, it would give me an opportunity to invest my time in something that doesn't require technology.

I understand your concerns about having a stray arrow fly out into the clearing behind our house and hurting someone. I've researched some archery safety rules. Also, the cost and
type of bow and arrows I want.

Safety is very important, especially because we live in a populated neighborhood. First off, when holding the bow do not dry fire, which is drawing the string back and releasing it without an arrow. This is very important because it could break the string, causing damage to the bow and the string could come back and hurt the shooter. Secondly, when the arrow is loaded by not drawn back, do not aim at anyone. This is dangerous to anyone around the shooter, the arrow could slide out and hit someone. Even though the arrow is not very sharp, it still has a metal tip which could hurt if it slid out onto someone. The issue of having the clearing behind our house and people regularly walking in it would be addressed by not aiming the arrow anywhere but the target. The target would be put in front of the shed.

If my brother and I were to be shooting together, we'd take even more safety precautions. Only one of us would shoot at a time. While the other person is shooting the other would be standing a safe distance behind them with their equipment not loaded. This would give the other person a good area to feel comfortable surrounding so they could shoot more accurately, concentrate more, and there'd be no chance of someone getting injured from a misfire. When the person shooting is out of arrows, the other would wait with their equipment still unloaded until the shooter had all of the arrows and then moves behind them so the next person could shoot. All technology would be put away during practice, except for taking pictures. Texting and talking would not occur in the duration of practice.
The equipment would be bought by me, so you wouldn't have to buy anything. My equipment would be a Barnett Youth Buck Commander Banshee Compound Bow, additional arrows, and a quiver. This would have a total cost of about $60-$75 dollars.

Teenage Post of the Day

This perfectly described me when I was reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I was so upset when Dobby died, till this day I still hate Bellatrix Lastrange. Dobby was the cutest, sweetest house elf any wizard or witch could ask for. So after getting over Dobby's death, Nymphadora Tonks became my new favorite, aside from the main three, until she died by the hand of the Snatchers. Why is it that every time I get a new favorite character, the author has to kill them off?  And with J.K. Rowling's beautiful ways of writing, you feel as if you're right next to the character, bonding with them. Then all of the sudden, she kills them off. Thanks J.K. Rowling for writing my childhood and then destroying it with a couple sentences.

Teenager Post of the Day

New thing now on ttm, we will be doing random Teenager Posts of the Day. I will post the picture and give my thoughts on it. It can be a random number having nothing to do with what I'm feeling or it can actually have some meaning. To start things off here's the first one.

Homework is one of the ideas that should not have been invented and put into practice. Right now I have a 50+ page report for History class, a packet and a 200 page book to read and annotate with a test coming up soon, and a math packet review of last years math to do. This is stressing me out. To make things worse, MY SCHOOL HASN'T EVEN STARTED YET! Homework should disappear or we should at least get less of it. Coloring back then wasn't fun and I thought they were mocking my intelligence when that became homework, now the homework is hard and takes forever and will only get worse.

If you want to comment a # we'll find that teenage post and put it on here =)

Perspective: Being a Teenager

Perspective

Being a teenager when I was little meant to me I'd be skinny, smart, popular, and go to a lot of school activities. I'll be honest with you, I viewed my future differently than I do now. It's quiet funny to go down memory lane and rethink these strange thoughts.

Perspective #1- Age 7

When I was 7 I thought being a teenager was like staying out late, going to parties, living life easy, no hardwork. I thought being a teenager was like getting to kick back, relax and do whatever I wanted. I thought if I wanted to be popular I'd have to be skinny and smart for people to like me.  I honestly wanted to be accepted. I know now its a very different reality.

Perspective #2- Age 11

My perception of teenagers had changed a lot. I wanted to have the kind of teenage lives that I read about in books. Like I wanted the opposite of what I wanted when I was younger. I wanted to not be part of the crowd. I has it set in my mind that I would find the group of life-long friends I had wanted ( which i did) and oppose those who were the "popular people". Everyone has those people at their school that aren't nice and accepting, the people who don't just fit the mold for what you have to be, they are the mold for that. I had been reading way to many teenage romance novels.

Now

I think I was pretty stupid as a kid. Pre-judging what I thought I was going to be. I've learned that I don't wanna be popular. I'm very different than them. I thought I wanted to have a marvelous social life, but to be honest sometimes I'd rather be on the internet in my room, lights off, radio on than spending time outside with nature. Actually right now I hate nature. And bright light. If I wanted bright light I'd turn up my screen brightness. I do have an awesome group of friends and we have countless adventures. Oh, and drama, I thought I'd steer clear of that. How stupid I was. Being a teen is hard but it teaches us who our true friends are and that we should stand out not fit in.

Sherlock

Sherlock

So I've just started this new series called tv series Sherlock, based off of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's book series. Its the modern adventures of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson as they go around London solving murder mysteries. Sherlock and Watson are a brilliant team.

Character Profile

Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is the London's finest consulting detective. He's a complete psychopath in the public's eye but is very important to the police. Sherlock has a mysterious gift to notice the little everyday things that common eye passes over. For example, we see graffiti, Sherlock sees a Chinese number that is related to black markets and murders. Another interesting quality of Sherlock is his uncanny ability to talk at one-hundred m.p.h. without losing his train of thought.

John Watson

John Watson, played by Martin Freeman, is a doctor who moved in with the great Sherlock Holmes to be his crime solving partner. John puts up with Sherlock's attitude and ramblings. John's blog starts to make a name for Sherlock. In fact, that is where most of their clients come from. Sherlock isn't exactly fond of all the publicity but John keeps up with the his blog, posting all the cracked cases on the blog.

HPFF- Intro

Harry
Potter
Fan
Fiction

This is a spin off of the Harry Potter series. Its set in the seventh year. Its basically a story about what would've happened of Harry, Ron, and Hermione stayed in Hogwarts that year and if the Second War didn't happened. Voldemort has disappeared.

(I haven't figured out exactly what the title of this will turn out to be)

The last sunset of the summer has set, Hermione Granger sat atop her luggage chest. She sat contemplating over how she's going miss the summer. The staying up late studying, working on three extra credit papers, playing with Crookshanks the cat, she'd miss it all. But most, she'd miss the house and her parents and the easy muggle life. All that will be put on hold while she would spend time at her favorite place in the world, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

How she loved Hogwarts. Hermione never thought she would make any friends, being a muggle-born and all. But that all changed the day she met her two best friends, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Together, they'd made the best memories at Hogwarts. She didn't want that to end.

"No! I don't want to have to leave them and then leave Hogwarts!" She said a loud as a tear slid down her pale cheek. "I'll be nothing. I'll be nothing. I'll know nobody in the real world."

Just moments later Hedwig, Harry's owl flew in through the window with a letter for her.

Hermione,

As you know I'm staying with him until the summer break ends. I wish you lived closer to him. Anyways we got invited to Dean's End of Summer Party tonight in three hours. I hope you have all your belongings packed so you can come. If you can, send Hedwig back with a letter and we'll pick you up in Mr.Weasleys's new flying car at half past six. Also, if you could give Hedwig a snack I'd greatly appreciate it.

                                                               Harry and Ron

Hermione sat the letter down and thought out loud, "Should I go? I still have to study.Well skipping one study won't hurt."  She sat down at her desk and started to write Harry back as Hedwig impatiently peaked her as if to say, "Hurry up!"

Hedwig took the letter and perched herself on the window sill as Hermione stroked her and said, "You're so beautiful Hedwig. Now go give that to Harry."

Hermoine rushed over to two big, heavy white doors and pulled them open. Inside there were clothes, coats, jumpers, shoes, skirts, and many other items. "Now, what should I wear?" She said with a grin as she started to go down the sides of her  closet.
