Minecraft
The virtual world of Minecraft is by far one of my favorite games for PC and Xbox 360. I've had the game for a little more than a year and a half, it's been a very fun and interesting experience. This fun and challenging game has two game modes, Creative and Survival. Players are challenged to construct a house and other basic tools to beat the game.Gameplay
Survival Mode
The story starts out with Steve (the player) spawning in a one of many biomes of the virtual world.Steve spawns with absolutely nothing. to craft items he must cut down trees to get wood. Once he has wood he can create different types of tools to mine and weapons to fight off Mobs. After Steve has his tools he mines downwards to find diamonds to make a diamond pickaxe. Once the diamond pickaxe is crafted, Steve mines Obsidian to make a portal to the Nether, Minecraft Hell. The Nether contains another portal which you must place special items called an Ender Pearl. Once this portal is created, Steve is transferred to The End, another dimension. In this dimension, you battle a boss to get special item not found anywhere else in the game. After that Steve wins the game an you can continue to mine, build houses and fight mobs.Mobs can be turned off or on depending on the difficulty.
Creative Mode
Creative Mode is the game mode where you have an infinite amount of every block in your inventory and you create any architectural structure you can imagine. There can still be Mobs. There are infinite possibilities.

PC vs Xbox 360
Minecraft for Xbox 360 is the version I'm best at. This version of the game seems easier to play to me because I play it more often than PC. Even though the controls might be easier, they might become more complicated as the new updates come out. Xbox 360 Minecraft is far behind the PC version because it was created first and released to the public in May of 2009 while the Xbox 360 version was released in May of 2012.
